Q: Why should you purchase your dress from Q Look Bridal?
A: We have served over 5000 happy customers in all the time we have been open. Please review our customer feedback by clicking the Customer Testimonials link. Unlike many online dress retailers, who are merely order takers and carry minimal stock, we carry a large inventory of dresses. Many times we are able to ship directly from our inventory which speeds up the delivery process. We are an authorized retailer for all designers listed on our website.
Q: Are you an authorized retailer for all the designers featured on your site?
A: Yes! We are authorized retailers for all of the designers that we feature on our site! We are featured on most of our designer's websites. You find us on their website store locator page. We only sell new, authentic items that come straight from the manufacturer, so you can rest assured that you are receiving genuine merchandise.
Q: Can I check the availability of a dress without placing an order?
A: Yes, contact us by phone at (508) 459-9291. Please provide us with the designer, style number, color option, size, and wear date information. Please keep in mind that others may be looking for the same dress so the best way to check availability is to place the order. If you place an order we have all the information we need to process and confirm the order putting your name on the dress as the owner. We do not charge your credit card unless we confirm the dress can be delivered to you by your wear date.
Q: How will you contact me?
A: We will contact you via the email address provided at checkout. We will notify you as quickly as possible to confirm your order or to let you know we will not be able to deliver your dress by the wear date. Your special occasion is important to us! We will contact you with information about your order as soon as it is available.
Q: When will you charge my credit card?
A: When you place an order you will be required to supply us with a wear date. If we can not deliver the dress by this date we will NOT charge your credit card. If we are able to deliver the dress to you by the wear date your credit card will be authorized for the amount of the purchase so we can process your order. We will notify you and supply you with a credit card receipt via the email address you provide during checkout.
Q: Do you protect my personal information provided during checkout?
A: Our shopping cart is protected by Thawte (a VeriSign company) which encrypts all of your personal information when you submit it. But in case you still are not comfortable using our secure shopping cart, please give us a call and we will be happy to process your order over the phone.
Q: Where and how do you ship?
A: We ship worldwide. We ship UPS Ground for all destinations in the 48 contiguous USA. Please allow 5-7 business days for UPS Ground shipments. We cannot ship to PO Boxes. All other orders are shipped USPS Priority if available to your destination. Transit times for international orders vary. We are not responsible for customs clearance times. International customers are responsible for all customs duties, VAT, taxes, duties, or any other fees associated with customs clearance. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to purchasing. You will receive an email sent to your registered email address providing the tracking number. It sometimes ends up in spam so please look there as well.
Q: Do accept returns?
A: We do not accept returns on orders, please review our return policy listed under the Store Policies.
Q: How long will it take to receive my order?
A: If we have your dress in stock it will ship within 2-3 business days. If we have to order it from the designer and they have it in stock we generally are able to ship it within 5-7 business days. If it has to be made it may take up to 4-12 weeks.
Q: What size should I order?
A: We have provided a measuring instructions link at the top of each page. You will find excellent information on how to take measurements. After you have taken your measurements please match them up to the designer's size charts provided for each style. If you are between sizes it is always best to size up for alterations. Alterations may be necessary for that perfect custom fit. If you have any questions at all in regards to sizing please call (508) 459 9291 and we will be happy to assist you.
Q: What color is the dress?
A: There are so many factors that influence the colors you see in our pictures. Computer monitors, digital cameras, and lighting conditions to mention a few. If the color is your most important factor in purchasing a dress we suggest you go to a store to make your purchase. That way you will be able to view the color in person.
Q: Oh those wrinkles. How do you get rid of them?
A: Your dress will be stressed by its shipping experience. So the first step is to take the dress out of the packaging and hang it up to let it relax for a couple of days. This is especially important for ball gowns with tulle and crinoline. You can also hang the dress in a steam-filled bathroom by turning the shower on hot for a few minutes. You can purchase a handheld steamer at most department stores or a professional steamer from Jiffy Steamers. Lastly, any prom, wedding, or alterations shop will have a professional steamer. NEVER USE A STEAM IRON.
